Biography

I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice, trainer and facilitator, with over thirty years of experience in the various areas of psychology, psychotherapy and neuroscience. Starting my professional career as a clinical neuropsychologist, I completed training courses in neuroscience at the Harvard Medical School, Boston, the VA Hospital, Boston and Portland. I graduated professional trainings and development courses at various psychotherapeutic schools and institutes and worked with exceptional and inspirational teachers. I have “learned” wisdom from them and relativized “knowledge” through Gestalt psychotherapy (IGW), biodynamic bodywork (London School of Biodynamic), and education in stress and trauma (DPP Zagreb and University of Texas, Houston), gestalt art therapy (IGW), EMDR (Francine Shapiro) and. As a Gestalt trainer, in the period from late 1990s to 2015 I trained, together with my co-leaders, seven generations of Gestalt psychotherapists in Croatia. In 1997 I met Amy and Arny Mindell in Zurich. Since then I have been involved in process psychotherapy in Zurich and Portland. In 2003 I founded “Mostovi” (Bridges), with an aim to provide counselling and education, while promoting development and connecting different worlds, knowledge, people and ideas. In 2015 I co-established Together d.o.o. In addition to co-authoring several professional books, leading workshops and transferring knowledge outside Croatia, I have also actively promoted humanistic values and ideas in my public appearances. In 2013 I was awarded a special acknowledgement from the Croatian Psychological Association for an exceptionally valuable contribution to the development and promotion of applied psychology in Croatia.
